Hotel Murtenhof & Krone

Hotel smack in the middle of the old town with a great view over the lake. We came for the light festival, so it was great to be in the center and in walking distance to everything. The room was quiet and we managed to get one of the free parking spots in front of the door. Very friendly welcome, nice touch to have a free drink and a tea/coffee station available for guests. Everything was clean and the breakfast was good as well.

Location of the hotel in the middle of historic Murten, as well as the Deluxe room with comfortable bed, and nicely sized room that included a little niche with a table. Very cozy feel, and exposed stone walls, which added to the room's unique character and charm. The staff at the hotel were exceptional, always friendly and eager to help with anything I needed.

Large room, nice comfortable round bed, very quiet during the night, excellent breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff at the reception and at the breakfast, great location in the old town, stylish ameneities

Dinner on terrace was very enjoyable. Room was spacious and comfortable

Wonderful location, charming rooms, welcoming staff, and view of the lake. We had a wonderful stay in the romantic gateway.
